Hey there,
Welcome to my photography project! I'm excited to share with you a glimpse of one of my favorite spots in Birmingham, Alabama. It's a bit of a hidden gem, tucked away and often overlooked, but to me, it's a haven of tranquility and natural beauty.
This park holds a special place in my heart. It's not just a place for picnics and strolls; it's teeming with wildlife. From deer and foxes to owls and hawks, you never know what you might spot here. And let's not forget about the fishing – some of my fondest memories with family involve casting lines and reeling in brim and bass.
But lately, I've noticed changes happening. Development seems to be creeping in, threatening to alter the landscape forever. Before these woods disappear and the park loses its magic, I wanted to capture its essence through my lens.
Originally, I set out to focus on the local wildlife, but I couldn't resist snapping a few shots of the ducks. They're just too adorable to ignore!
